Welcome to a new and yet to be fully explored territory in cyberspace; the Tom Lee Music Spotify! Put on your headphones, set your phasers to stun, and prepare to be blasted onto the intergalactic dancefloor.  Enjoy this playlist featuring Mun Sing, Fatima Al Qadiri, SOPHIE, Beta Librae and Yves Tumor selected by me, Lorelle, Graphic Designer for Tom Lee Music. ARTIST NOTES: FATIMA AL QADIRI - a Senegal-born, Kuwait-raised composer and conceptual artist who is currently based in Berlin, Germany. Qadiri's music is a meditation and examination of the way western culture perceives others, as well as an exploration of sociocultural identity. Atmospheric synth work paired with war-torn samples and a dash of eastern dance party makes for a conscious and vibrant journey into the cosmos. MUN SING - one half of UK noise-dance act GIANT SWAN, Harry Wright (AKA Mun Sing) proves that you can make hard-hitting electronic music with what you already have. Mun Sing has been known to use free software like Garage Band '09 to create blown apart industrial tracks perfect for when your spacesuit runs out of power. BETA LIBRAE - While this artist from Brooklyn is our most understated selection on this playlist, you'll certainly never be bored. The combination of zone-y ambient house vibes with luscious low-end beats and production is perfect for floating aimlessly in your spaceship and counting all the distant stars. YVES TUMOR - Though perhaps the most "mainstream" artist on this list, Yves Tumor is nowhere near ordinary. Being a self-taught drummer, bassist, guitarist, AND keyboard player, Tumor's music is as versatile as it is self-sufficient. His approach to electronic music and production is reminiscent of far-off radio signals of long lost pop songs of a distant civilization. Also, he's coming to Vancouver on February 16th at Celebrities Night Club, for those looking to get spacey in person. http://bplive.ca/events/yves-tumor-at-celebrities-ug SOPHIE  - This Scottish producer, DJ and singer-songwriter takes your typical pop-infused EDM and slams them straight into hyperdrive. Sophie's sound is built on fragmented pop song structures and crunchy experimental beats that make her music the perfect soundtrack for a bright and oversaturated, oil-slicked planet.       --
