history of casio

Casio’s philosophy revolves around “creativity and contribution”. This corporate creed resembles the company’s dedication to contributing to society by offering the kind of original, useful products that only Casio can. Their first electronic musical instrument was birthed from a wish to bring the joy of playing music to everyone. In the 1980s, Casio developed the lightweight, compact Casiotone 201 electronic keyboard with a built-in speaker to offer the enjoyment of playing a variety of instruments. This Casio keyboard enabled the user to play the sounds of 29 different instruments on the keyboard and kickstarted the company’s reputation in keyboard and piano manufacturing. Today, a new generation of Casiotone can be discovered in the Casio CT-S1, CT-S400 and LK-S450. They offer a basic, minimalist design that is both simple and functional, delivering rich tones for unlimited musical exploration.
