On May 3rd, students performed their compositions at the Yamaha Eastern National Junior Original Concert (JOC) in Winnipeg. The young talents inspired the East Coast with their innovative & spectacular performance.

Silvy Lin, age 14, awakened the audience’s imagination with her composition “Fantasy on an Impromptu” for violin and piano. She also improvised an entire piece given only a short motif, demonstrating her skills gained from the Yamaha Music Program. Congratulations Silvy!
