On May 3rd, students performed their compositions at the Yamaha Eastern National Junior Original Concert (JOC) in Winnipeg. The young talents inspired the East Coast with their innovative & spectacular performance. All the performers making their final bow on stage. Silvy Lin, age 14, awakened the audience’s imagination with her composition “Fantasy on an Impromptu” for violin and piano. She also improvised an entire piece given only a short motif, demonstrating her skills gained from the Yamaha Music Program. Congratulations Silvy!
