On the evening of November 18, representatives of Tom Lee Music were proud to attend a lovely District Foundation Dinner in honour of the Rotary Club of Vancouver, celebrating the start of their second century of charitable giving and community involvement.
Through our community partnership, we were delighted to provide an outstanding Spirio player piano from Steinway & Sons. Exquisite classical music was performed by three of our top young students in the Tom Lee Music Academy. The children were incredibly proud and gracious to be performing at such an esteemed charitable event. Not only did the evening feature beautiful classical music, but there was also a silent auction, fine dining and an engaging tango lesson and impromptu dance.
Our Institutional Sales Manager for the piano division, Chuck Cave, spoke eloquently on the important of musical education and community involvement through music. Other notable guests included Rotary Club District Governor Don Evans and many local philanthropists.
The Rotary Club of Vancouver is a service club dedicated to improving the lives of others both in the community and around the world. The club has a long history of service and was established in 1913 as the first club in British Columbia and the second club across Canada.
