Crescendo Vancouver Honour Concert 2018
Thank you to everyone who attended our Crescendo Vancouver Honour Concert on Sunday, February 4. A lovely crowd was gathered in the Roy Barnett Hall at the UBC School of Music and the audience was delighted by engaging and energetic performances from 56 young classical musicians, all of whom placed first or second place in the 2018 International Crescendo Competition.
There was some beautiful classical repertoire performed on piano, cello and flute during the concert. The talented performers, ranging in age from 6 to 16 years old, were on their way to perform in the International Crescendo Competition finale concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City later in the month.
