Another Memorable Folk Festival has Concluded!
The 37th annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival wrapped up on Sunday, and what a spectacular festival it was!
Artists and folk-lovers from all around the world travelled to Jericho Beach Park to experience the musical celebration. The wide spectrum of music brought out an array of emotions in everyone. There were some songs that made people link arms and dance and others that made people lie down and gaze up at the clouds and the stars.
Attracting three different generations of music-enthusiasts, the Folk Music Festival is a truly unique Vancouver music experience. It created a community within itself, and bringing communities together through music is something we couldn’t be more honoured to be involved with.
Thanks to the artists, the volunteers, and all the visitors who stopped by our booth. We’re going to miss those spontaneous jam sessions, but rest assured – we’ll be back, and so will the plethora of memorable moments. Until next year, folk lovers!
