2x2 USB-C Audio Interface
microAUDIO 722 is a compact 2x2 USB-C audio interface with up to 24-bit / 192 kHz sampling. Sporting an integrated analog low-pass / high-pass filter derived from the miniKorg 700S, this interface offers unique tonal shaping potential.
The microAUDIO 722 features two XLR-1/4" combo mic/line/Hi-Z inputs, and balanced DC-coupled outputs ensuring quality sound without excessive complexity. Optimized for streaming applications, the microAUDIO 722 sports integrated loopback and zero-latency direct monitoring capabilities. The headphone output is assignable, allowing you to send whatever audio you want to the headphones.
Switched functions include 48V phantom power, a Stereo Link function for controlling both input channels with one knob, a mono or stereo mix selection switch, and controls for the analog filter, such as MIDI or USB-controlled cutoff, low, high, and bypass filter modes, free or synchronized rate, and LFO or envelope modes. The interface can be powered by USB bus power or a USB power adapter, supporting mobile use on the go (power adapter and USB-C cable sold separately). USB-C also enables easy use with mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The microAUDIO 722 includes a Korg software bundle, iZotope Ozone Elements, Ableton Live Lite, and the Filter Ark plug-in suite.
Authentic Analog Filter
The microAUDIO 722 incorporates the iconic analog filter from the miniKorg 700S, known for its warm, musical response. It can be used as a standalone analog filter or integrated directly into your DAW setup, adding unique tonal shaping possibilities.
Connect a guitar or bass to use it as an auto-wah effect, or route digital synthesizers through it to introduce classic analog motion and character. The filter includes Low-Pass, High-Pass, and Bypass modes and can process inputs as well as any audio played back from a connected computer. With MIDI I/O connectivity, you can automate the filter, synchronize with external hardware, and explore creative hybrid workflows that blend digital precision with the miniKorg 700S’s distinctive analog behavior.
Intuitive, Hands-On Control
Each channel of the microAUDIO series features versatile Mic, Line, and Hi-Z inputs with 48V phantom power, plus assignable noise gate and either a compressor or limiter for smooth, musical gain with minimal noise. These processors can be applied not only to input signals, but also to any audio played back from a connected computer.
Front-panel knobs provide direct access to essential functions, and zero-latency direct monitoring ensures immediate feedback during recording or live performance. The headphone output can be assigned independently of the main outputs, allowing you to route a click track exclusively to the headphones or monitor cue signals when connected to DJ applications.
Creative Workflow with Stereo Link
The Stereo Link function allows both channels to be controlled simultaneously with a single knob, making it ideal for stereo synthesizers and other paired sources. This workflow keeps the technical side simple, so you can stay focused on creating.
Ready for Streaming and Mobile Creation
Built-in loopback mode sends computer audio directly into your livestream or DAW without complicated routing. This is ideal for streaming, sampling, or capturing content on the fly. With USB-C connectivity, microAUDIO works seamlessly with smartphones and tablets, making it easy to create or stream from anywhere. Whether recording at home, performing onstage, or streaming online, the microAUDIO series adapts to your workflow and delivers consistent, professional sound.
Filter Ark
Bundled exclusively with microAUDIO, Filter Ark is Korg’s next-generation filter plug-in for DAW-based production. It faithfully reproduces legendary analog filters from the MS-20, Polysix, miniKORG 700S, and ARP Odyssey, while introducing new models such as physically modeled resonators and vowel-based filters.
With up to four filters routable in series, parallel, or feedback configurations, plus morphable LFOs, sequencers, and macros for advanced modulation, Filter Ark turns filtering into a creative instrument. Scale quantization and performance-ready presets ensure every movement is musical, unlocking expressive sound design far beyond traditional filtering.
Software Bundle for Instant Creation
In addition to Filter Ark, microAUDIO includes a complete software suite with instruments and production tools such as Ableton Live Lite, Native Instruments Komplete Select, and iZotope Ozone Elements. This covers everything from composition and recording to mixing and mastering.
