Two-Way 12" 2000W Powered PA Loudspeaker / Floor Monitor with Bluetooth Control
The JBL PRX912 is a 2-way, active loudspeaker designed for main PA and monitor applications with extensive Bluetooth control over the onboard DSP. Well suited for event halls, bands, DJ systems, clubs, bars, schools, and churches, the speaker is optimized for full-range sound reinforcement or floor monitor applications. With its dual-socket pole mount, the PRX912 is designed to match the PRX915XLF and PRX918XLF subwoofers (separately sold), offering a high-performance, self-powered sub/satellite system.
A 2000W peak Class-D amplifier drives the 12" woofer and 1.5" compression driver, which combine to offer a frequency range of 65 Hz to 17 kHz (-3 dB) with a 132 dB maximum SPL output. The built-in Bluetooth offers wireless control of the system from anywhere in the venue, using the free Pro Connect app for iOS and Android devices. The app controls levels, parametric EQ, user presets, and up to 180ms of user-defined delay to fine-tune your setup.
All-New Acoustic Design
From cone to cabinet, the PRX912 has been built from the ground up to leverage the latest JBL acoustic innovations. A patented JBL 2408H-2 1.5" compression driver with poly-annular diaphragm and neodymium magnet provides clear, detailed high-frequency response even at maximum volume. High-quality NTC thermistors protect transducers by reducing power sent to transducers when approaching thermal limit. Innovative new horns with updated JBL Image Control Waveguides provide optimum beam-width and directivity. A next-generation woofer with ferrite magnet delivers smooth, natural bass and mids.
Power that Performs for You
PRX900 systems effortlessly support large performance spaces with high power and performance needs. Driven by a highly efficient 2000W (peak) Class-D power amp, PRX912 provides acoustic clarity and definition with minimal power compression, even at maximum volume. A bridged woofer amp keeps current spikes out of the ground and lowers crosstalk harmonics to the compression driver, and a power factor correction (PFC) power supply stabilizes voltage load sent to the amplifier. High-quality, high-linearity inductors deliver high power efficiency and low total harmonic distortion, and low-noise, low-distortion input gain staging optimizes range and headroom for diverse gain requirements. A high-quality DAC and ADC provide near lossless audio conversion. And with a full-bandwidth CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio) greater than 55 dB and THD (total harmonic distortion) rating of <32 dB, system noise is virtually nonexistent.
Dial In Your Sound with Class-Leading DSP
PRX912 is fully loaded with comprehensive DSP, all accessible via the JBL Pro Connect app and onboard full-color LCD. Processing includes 12-band parametric EQ and optimized system presets. Onboard dbx DriveRack technology features live and fixed Automatic Feedback Suppression, soft system limiters and 180ms of speaker delay in 100-microsecond intervals for precise time-aligned systems.
Versatile and Scalable
Combine PRX900 Series loudspeakers and subwoofers in a range of configurations to meet the needs of both mobile scenarios and fixed installs. PRX912 features dual 36mm pole sockets and six M10 suspension points. A built-in gyrosensor automatically optimizes tuning depending on monitor or mains placement.
Part of the Pro Connect Ecosystem
JBL's Pro Connect app offers BLE functionality for system control of up to 10 speakers and line integration with JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 loudspeakers. The app provides full access to the PRX900 Series' DSP package, and users can easily mute channels and speakers with the touch of a button and can change speaker names and flash all unit LEDs for ease of speaker identification. App-exclusive features include speaker snapshots and groupings.
Rugged and Road-Worthy
PRX912 components are housed in a strong, lightweight enclosure that maximizes both acoustic performance and durability. Its cabinet is constructed from a polypropylene/talc blend that's optimized for rigidity, with a computer-modeled internal ribbing design for maximum structural integrity and minimum cabinet noise.
In It for the Long Haul
Like every JBL product, the PRX912 undergoes an industry-leading 100-hour stress test of all components to ensure systems perform beyond expectations in real-world scenarios. It's so reliable that it's backed with an unprecedented seven-year warranty.
