• The H6studio’s F-Series preamps deliver exceptional clarity with an impressive -127 dBu EIN. Dual A/D converters and 32-bit float recording provide 132 dB of dynamic range, so even the most delicate details are preserved without distortion.
• The 19.4mm X/Y microphones capture a flat, natural frequency response and handle up to 140 dB SPL—enough for everything from quiet acoustic performances to roaring jet engines. Their stacked 90º arrangement minimizes phase cancellation, producing a clean, focused stereo image.
• For maximum flexibility, the H6studio lets you toggle between 32-bit float for limitless headroom and 16-/24-bit formats for instantly usable files. Dedicated gain knobs and a format switch make adapting to different workflows fast and intuitive.

Recording Power and Flexibility

• The H6studio captures up to 8 tracks at once—6 individual inputs plus a stereo mix—at sampling rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz (8 tracks at 96 kHz, 6 tracks at 192 kHz). RF shielding blocks interference from smartphones and Wi-Fi, while shockmounted capsules reduce handling noise.
• Lookahead limiters deliver clean, peak-free results in 16-/24-bit mode and smooth performance in 32-bit float. Four locking XLR/TRS inputs provide +48V phantom power and +4 dBu line-level support, with an additional stereo mini jack for plug-in powered microphones.
• The Capsule System 3.0 expands flexibility with support for 32-bit float and a wide range of interchangeable microphone and input modules, including the WLM-1 dual-channel wireless system. 

Features and Accessibility

• The H6studio makes monitoring simple with real-time peak and waveform displays, plus multiple output options including a powerful headphone jack, stereo line out, and onboard speaker for instant playback.
• A full suite of recording tools is built in, including mono mode, a low-cut filter, file normalization, variable speed playback, A-B repeat, and a start tone for syncing audio to video. Record directly to microSDHC/microSDXC cards with support for capacities up to 2TB.
• For extended sessions, the H6studio runs up to 15 hours on four AA batteries or can be powered via USB or AC adapter. Accessibility features offer audible menu navigation in multiple languages, ensuring ease of use for visually impaired users.

USB Audio Interface and Timecode

• Use the H6studio as a 6-in / 2-out USB audio interface for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android supporting 32-bit float and 16/24-bit recording. Stream and simultaneously record a backup to the microSD card.
• The optional TCA-1 timecode adapter generates and outputs timecode or jams to an external clock with 0.5 ppm accuracy. You can also receive wireless timecode from the ATOMOS UltraSync BLUE using the TCA-1 or the BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter (both available separately).
• The BTA-1 also lets you use the Zoom Handy Control & Sync app for iOS to remotely manage multiple Zoom recorders, control start/stop, and synchronize timecode effortlessly.

• The separately available APH-6st pack includes a padded case, furry windscreen, AC adapter, and USB-C cable for a complete field-ready setup.
