At the heart of the KSM44MP is a precision-engineered 1" dual-diaphragm capsule using gold-layered diaphragms. This architecture enables selectable polar patterns—cardioid, omnidirectional, and bidirectional—while stabilizing sensitivity and polar pattern consistency. The result is improved off-axis control, particularly at low frequencies, and cleaner results in multi-microphone and stereo recording setups. A 15 dB pad is available for recording louder sources.

The KSM44MP delivers a flat, accurate response with a subtle high-frequency lift that enhances detail while remaining smooth and natural.
