The JAZZ TRIBUTE metal tenor mouthpiece stands out for its balance, timbre and roundness. Its design provides a density of sound while remaining easy to play. With a fine layer of gold on its surface, its tone gains brilliance and projection. Utilizing brass for the JAZZ TRIBUTE mouthpiece, Henri SELMER Paris reaffirms its commitment to superior quality and innovation. The combination of copper and zinc in brass, together with gold plating, leads to exceptional projection with a warm timbre. Gold-plated brass is also durable, corrosion-resistant, and beautiful to behold. An homage to the great American mouthpieces from the golden age of jazz, the JAZZ TRIBUTE metal tenor mouthpiece is available in a single table length of 36 mm / 1.4b2 in, with three tip openings: 7* (2.67 mm / 0.105 in), 8 (2.80 mm / 0.110 in), and an 8* (2.92 mm / 0.115 in). Each mouthpiece is meticulously crafted using CNC machines designed to uphold our high-quality standards. Widely used for years in Swiss watchmaking, these machines ensure perfect repeatability with a tolerance of less than 0.03mm. Our 3D optical inspection machine, equipped with a high-resolution camera, meticulously examines every parameter of the mouthpiece, guaranteeing exceptional manufacturing accuracy. Included with each JAZZ TRIBUTE mouthpiece is a beautiful custom-designed ligature and cap, in polished lacquer.
