Vocal Microphone and Instrument Switcher Pedal

Process vocals, horns, brass, or any other mic'd instrument through your guitar pedals with the Voco-Loco, an FX loop controller sporting a studio-quality mic preamp and a fully parallel FX loop for greater control over performances. With integrated level, 2-band EQ, and tone controls, you can make any mic input work perfectly with virtually any FX pedal.

With a true parallel FX loop, Voco-Loco lets you trim gain for both the 1/4" send and receive connections, making it easy to facilitate any signal chain. The wet/dry control lets you blend and mix your processed and raw signals. The left footswitch turns the FX loop on or off with wet/dry mix engaged and the other activates the Mute or All Wet function for the left switch. All Wet bypasses the wet/dry mix and instantly provides a 100% processed signal. The mic preamp offers switchable 48V phantom power, allowing you to connect nearly any microphone, from passive dynamics to active condensers and ribbons. The rear panel also provides switches for a ground lift (helping to eliminate grounding loop-induced hum on the mic input) and a polarity reversal of the FX loop to ensure pedals are in phase with the mic input. The Voco-Loco can be powered by common 9 to 18V power supplies from pedalboards but includes a standalone power supply to get you started.

Applications

Voco-Loco on Voice

• Plug in your vocal mic and control the reverb and echo effects the way you want. Take it another step further and add distortion and chorus for a special effect.

Voco-Loco with Harmonica

• The Voco-Loco lets you incorporate chorus, overdrive, and reverb to your harp solos to deliver amazing tones without having to bring an amp to the gig. The blues never sounded so good.

Voco-Loco with Brass

• Add echo, chorus, or wah to your sax or trumpet to make your solos stand out from the crowd and deliver a unique performance to the audience that they will never forget.
