Great for beginners who are just starting to learn piano or gigging musicians who want a quality ultraportable piano, the Korg L1 Liano is an ultraslim and lightweight digital piano that features a stunning Nautilus-derived Italian Grand piano sound, quick and responsive Light Touch (LS) 88-note key action, and access to award-winning piano software via its USB Audio/MIDI connectivity.

Weighing only 13 lb in a thin body that's barely larger than the keys themselves, capable of operating up to 8 hours on six AA batteries, and featuring a headphone jack / line out, the Liano offers unprecedented mobility for musicians on the go. Simple-to-use, the front panel dial lets you quickly switch between one of eight sounds including two grand pianos, two electric pianos, two organs, a harpsichord, or strings. There is a built-in metronome to help you practice and perform with precision timing. The piano comes with an AC power adapter for use at home, a music rest, and a PS-3 sustain pedal switch.

The slim, lightweight, and optional battery power means that Liano is easy to carry and can be used in a wide variety of environments—indoors and outdoors.

The Liano is a mere 11.4" deep and just 2.9" thick—including speakers—while still offering a full-size 88-key keybed. You benefit from a slim, lightweight design, while keeping the important functionality and performance of a piano.

Even with 88 keys and speakers, this piano weighs just 13.2 lb (plus approx. 7 oz when six optional AA batteries are installed), so Liano is easy to move around and store as needed.

Eight Inspiring Sounds

Turn the front panel dial to quickly switch between one of eight sounds including two grand pianos, two electric pianos, two organs, a harpsichord, or strings—it's that simple. The star amongst the sounds is a renowned Nautilus-derived Italian grand piano with a beautiful tone—a piano featured at concerts worldwide.

The Liano features two effects, reverb and chorus, that add richness to the sounds.

Bass-Reflex Speakers Deliver a Rich Low-End Sound

The two speakers are located on the front panel to bring the sound directly to you. The bass-reflex speaker features specially designed ports, providing a dynamic low-end sound that would otherwise be difficult to produce.

For silent practice there is also a convenient headphone socket.

Eight Hours of Continuous Use on Six AA Batteries

Even with built-in speakers, the Liano can run on six AA batteries, giving you approximately eight hours of playing time. Use Liano at home, school, or outside at parties, onstage, or in street performances—there is plenty of battery life.

Korg Light Touch LS Keybed

The Liano uses a custom-designed Korg Light Touch (LS) keybed particularly recommended for beginners as well as for players who don’t like heavy key action.

USB Audio/MIDI Connectivity to Mobile Device and Computer

Connect the Liano to a mobile device or computer via the USB port and use it as a master keyboard to record music on your DAW software, control an app that offers more piano sounds, or otherwise expand Liano’s functionality.

You can send music from your computer or mobile device to Liano and play along with your favorite songs.
