Just like the large AXE I/O, you can explore a massive range of electric guitar tones via the groundbreaking Z-TONE input, and enjoy simple, pain-free reamplification through the onboard Amp Out, allowing you to process your guitar tone with IR processors and send the final product to any guitar amp or speaker noise-free, thanks to the built-in ground loop interrupter. The AXE I/O One has plenty more I/O options as well, including stereo line outputs, a headphone output, MIDI I/O, two footswitch, controller, or expression inputs with an innovative MIDI learn function for controller parameters on other equipment or software, and USB-C connectivity for host connections and power input. The AXE I/O One includes a USB-C cable and over $300 of free software to get you started, including AmpliTube 5 SE, TONEX SE, and Ableton Live Lite.

AXE I/O One offers a dedicated Amp Out with a ground-isolated design and zero-latency routing, letting you ditch expensive and confusing reamping setups. It's simple: connect the Amp Out to your amp, then mic it up using AXE I/O Solo's microphone preamp. Now you can capture a clean copy of your signal to experiment with different amp, stompbox, and microphone settings without re-recording countless takes.

Your Guitar's Golden Channel

AXE I/O One offers a triple-topology instrument input designed to preserve your guitar’s unique character. First, choose between passive and active channels to match your instrument, then choose between transparent PURE or warmer JFET circuits for added coloration.

AXE I/O One also offers IK’s patent-pending Z-TONE circuit, letting you dial in impedances from 1 megohm (sharp) down to 2.2 kilohms (bold), shaping your guitar's tone by interacting with its pickups. You’ll quickly find yourself using these controls to give your guitars even more sonic character—with just a few minutes’ experimentation, you can dial in a sound that fits the mix beautifully.

Pure Mic Preamp, Transparent Recording Everywhere

AXE I/O One offers a studio-grade mic preamp with selectable 48V phantom power, designed for transparent and clean recording. An extended, flat frequency response captures the full tonal range of your voice or instrument without coloring the sound, and a wide dynamic range ensures ultraquiet recordings.

Seamless AmpliTube Integration and More

AXE I/O One offers two dedicated controller inputs that let you connect up to two expression pedals or two single/double switches to control AmpliTube, or any other software, in real-time while playing. With AmpliTube’s MIDI Learn function, just right-click on any parameter you want to control, move the pedal, and it’s assigned.

You can use up to 6 different controller configurations with AXE I/O One, mixing pedals and switches, to suit your needs. You can also use AXE I/O One’s MIDI input and output to connect floor controllers or iRig Stomp I/O to add even more real-time controls—or use it with regular keyboards and other standard MIDI gear.
