Well suited for use in home, project, and midsize studios, the R.A.M 1000 from Heritage Audio is a streamlined desktop monitor controller with Bluetooth input support and intuitive controls. Inspired by classic European consoles, but occupying a much smaller footprint, the unit features a 24-step Marconi-style rotary encoder for precise volume control in 3 dB steps. The encoder delivers sub-tenth-of-a-dB precision on every single attenuation position, providing pinpoint stereo imaging for demanding producers, musicians, and engineers.

In addition to the wireless Bluetooth input, the controller features two balanced (unbalanced compatible) stereo inputs: a pair of combo XLR-1/4" inputs feed input 1, and a pair of TRS inputs feed input 2. The R.A.M 1000 uses a USB-C input to power the Bluetooth functions, but features a passive audio path that guarantees a distortion-free, noiseless response with unlimited headroom.

Intuitive and Flexible Controls

With the R.A.M 1000, you´ll have everything you need to control what you hear right at your fingertips for easy navigation; things are kept simple to make sure they don´t get in the way of your creativity.

Operation is intuitive with 3 selectable input buttons to the left and 2 output buttons to the right with a huge, beautiful Marconi-type knob dead center to make sure you always control exactly what you want.

The addition of the ubiquitous Mute, Dim, and Mono functions keep those options within reach. There is a high-quality headphone output on board for when you need to make a critical listening decision that only headphone monitoring can offer.

There is even an option to switch the routing from Output 1 to your soundcard/interface for recording. This will make it easy to plug in an instrument to rehearse along to a mix and when ready, simply route it on to your recording device.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth has basically become a standard within studios around the world in the last few years. The R.A.M 1000 provides it, as well as including all latest CODEC options—including aptX, AAC, and SBC—to insure the highest quality transmission possible.
