River Run Canyon was inspired by a white water rafting excursion in the high elevations of the Rocky Mountains.� Feel the spray in your face as it opens with the rise, fall and brief hesitations experienced while riding the river current over and around various rock formations.� Eventually the waters deepen and become placid before turning tumultuous once again.� There are solo opportunities for clarinet, alto sax and trumpet in this memorable melody and interesting rhythmic overture.
