The ATH-GL3 Over-Ear Gaming Headset in black from Audio-Technica. Utilizing an over-ear and closed-back design, the ATH-GL3 is intended to provide ample soundstage for a more lifelike sound, whether listening for the creeping footsteps of an advancing opponent or the report of rifle. Chat with teammates using the detachable boom mic. A hypercarioid pickup pattern allows for clear, directional pickup, and controls on the left earpiece allow you to adjust volume or mute the mic on the fly.

Large 45mm drivers allow for accurate audio whether gaming or listening to music, and the 98 dB sensitivity and 45 ohm impedance allow these headphones to be driven with entry-level or more robust amps and interfaces. A replaceable headband and earpads allow you to get more out of your gear. Two detachable cables are included, allowing you to connect to desktops with split 3.5mm TRS mic and headphone jacks, or to laptops and compatible gaming consoles sporting a 3.5mm TRRS combo jack.

Closed-Back Design

The closed-back design slightly emphasizes low frequencies, while also limiting the amount of sound that escapes the headphones. Plus, the isolating design prevents nearby chatter or noise from stealing your attention.
