This lively and fun piano duo features a catchy swung melody accompanied by a perpetual-motion boogie bass that is split between the hands. These parts are traded between the two players with slight variations woven in throughout the piece. A contrasting middle section uses surprising harmonies over bass pedal points and ostinato patterns. The piece requires agile fingers, driving rhythm, and some octave playing.
