Sang! By Dana Wilson

Ensemble: Concert Band
Format: Score and Parts, Set of Parts
Level: Grade 3
Publisher: LudwigMasters Publications

Concert Band - Grade 3

Composed by Dana Wilson. Score and set of parts. Published by LudwigMasters Publications (LG.10100330).

Item Number: LG.10100330

Dana Wilson has always provided fresh outlooks on band works. With Sang!, he explores the interconnectivity between rhythmic utterances and typical wind instrument sound production by having players vocalize with and without their instruments. The extended percussion is great fun for the players and, along with the vocalizations, the result is a true crowd- and performer-pleasing piece. This has been one of Ludwig Music's most successful publications.
