Local band in running for Best Teen Band Contest

High Life Scenery, a pop punk-rock band from Burnaby and Vancouver, is among three finalists for B.C.’s Best Teen Band Contest.
Sponsored by Tom Lee Music and Youthink Magazine, the contest will culminate in a live showdown before a panel of music industry judges at Tom Lee Music Hall in Vancouver on May 1 at 2 p.m. The finalists were chosen by online voting at Youthink.ca where voting continues until April 6 to rank the finalists. The band taking top spot will get to choose its performance slot for the final showcase.
