Instructor: Brent Mah
 Vancouver saxophonist and woodwind doubler Brent Mah has been an active member of the Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary music scenes for several years as a performer, composer, instructor and promoter. He has toured extensively across North America, Europe and Asia and has been a featured performer at all of Canada’s most prestigious jazz venues
Brent is a skilled and experienced music instructor; he teaches saxophone, flute, clarinet and piano. He has been teaching students of all levels and ages for many years at countless music studios and schools. His expertise at jazz education has been put to the test as a regular guest clinician in public and private schools across Western Canada and as an ensemble coach for numerous years at the Wetaskiwin Jazz
Beg Jazz Connection - Drums, bass, & guitar - minimum of 1 year private instruction; Piano minimum RCM level 6; woodwind & brass instruments - minimum 2 years instruction
Advanced Jazz Connection - Drums, Bass & guitar - minimum of 3 years private instruction OR a written recommendation from a private/school teacher due to early advancement; Piano minimum RCM level 9; Woodwind & Brass instruments - minimum 4 years of playing OR a written recommendation from a private/school teacher due to early advancement
Classes scheduled on Saturdays. Minimum enrolment required. Classes are assigned and scheduled based on interest and enrolment at the time of registration.
